The iPSC/1 was delivered in 1985. It was based on Intel 80286 processors with an Ethernet based
connection network.
The iPSC/860 machine, based on the i860 processor, was first delivered in 1990.
The Paragon/XP series were started in 1992. Those computers had up to 2048 processors in a 2-dimensional grid.
